House Votes to Revoke Legal Protection for Millions of Immigrants
Today the House voted to approve legislation that will take away legal protection for millions of undocumented immigrants. The article does not simply focus on this vote, but discusses the issues with immigration in the government. Republicans believe that the president is overstepping his boundaries and going against the constitution by amending laws on immigration on his own. Democrats on the other hand think that Republicans are not taking their responsibilities seriously and are creating a fight that does not need to happen in the first place. The main point of the essay is that there is a great amount of controversy with immigration and this legislation has created a lot more.
